Shipping & Returns

Shipping

We can ship our products to virtually any address in the U.S. When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider, shipping and delivery date estimates will either appear when you check-out or we will call you to identify the best date and time for in-home delivery and installation.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are based on weight and/or size. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.


Returns

We understand that returning products is often a frustrating experience, but Energy Results strives to make the process a simple and straightforward one. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly help you to return your product in adherance with the guidelines below.

To return your item simply call one of our helpful customer service representatives at 1-866-471-4885.  If you are returning a scheduled home-delivery item, which are shipped by specialty carriers (e.g., major appliances, TVs), please note this when you call so that we can arrange a pickup time. 

Canceling an Order

To request an order cancellation, call us at 1-866-471-4885.  We can cancel an order any time prior to it officially being processed for delivery.  If canceling an item means your order is no longer eligible for a promotion or a quantity discount, your order total will be recalculated.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

If you received a damaged, defective or incorrect item, please call us at 1-866-471-4885 for assistance.  If you choose to return the item, you will receive a credit. You may then choose to purchase a replacement item. 

Backorders

If an item you've ordered is on backorder, we'll contact you to let you know the estimated arrival time. You can choose to wait for the item or cancel it. Backorders remain active for 30 days.  If after 30 days the item is still on backorder, we will automatically cancel the item. Prior to canceling the item we will attempt to contact you to ask if you would like to extend the backorder. At that time, you may extend the backorder. Extension periods vary by product. 

Return Period

Online purchases must be returned within 14 days. The return period begins on the date you receive your order.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Labor, delivery, installation services and/or products that have been installed and cannot be removed without damage
  • Items that have been damaged through customer use or abuse
  • Etched or otherwise personalized items
  • Any product missing the serial number or UPC 

Return Process

Follow these steps to return your purchase by mail.

  1. Pack your return in the original package if possible.
  2. Indicate the reason for the return.
  3. Include all original packing materials, manuals and accessories to avoid additional fees.
  4. For proof of delivery, we recommend that you return items via UPS ground or insured USPS.
  5. Your exact return location may vary. Please contact us 1-866-471-4885 to obtain the shipping location(s) for your return.

You are responsible for all shipping charges. If the return is the result of our error, you will not be charged for return shipping. Please do not return items COD. Any charges for COD shipments will be deducted from your refund amount. 

Refunds

Refunds will be credited to the original purchasing credit card or PayPal account. If you are returning an item because it is damaged or defective, or the wrong item was shipped:

  • We will cover all reasonable and customary ground shipping fees.
  • Any product damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. 

Restocking Fee

A restocking fee is applicable in some product categories, unless the item is defective, or the fee is prohibited by law. The restocking fee charges are up to 25%.

Missing Item or Damaged Product Fee

If the product is missing the original box, packaging material, contents, accessories and/or manuals, a missing item or damaged product fee may be charged. 

Promotional Items and Bundles

To receive a full refund, you must also return the free gift. If you don't do this, the refund amount will be reduced to reflect the value of the free gift.

 As a benefit to our customers, Energy Results occasionally offers promotional items and savings with a purchase or enhanced savings on a bundle of items when they are purchased together.

  • When a promotional item is returned, the value of the promotional item is deducted from the refund amount. For instance, if you purchase a Washer and get a $100 gift card or 50% off of an accessory, the $100 value of the gift card or the total value of the accessories would be subtracted from the refund.
  • When an item included as part of a promotional bundle is returned, the bundled discount is void and the value of the bundled discount will be applied to the refund. This occasionally results in additional funds being owed to Energy Results. For instance, if you receive $200 in savings when you purchase a Washer and Dryer together and you return either item, the $200 amount will be subtracted from your refund. 

Receiving a Refund

We'll provide a refund after we receive and process your return.   You should expect to receive your refund within 4 weeks of giving your package to the return shipper (though in many cases you'll receive the refund sooner).  This time period includes:

  • 5 to 10 business days for us to receive your return from the shipper
  • 3 to 5 business days for us to process your return
  • The time it takes your bank to process our refund request (see below for specific guidelines)
